Development Structures - 2019

In line with the Cricket Leinster Strategy (2019-21), we are today announcing some changes to our ‘development’ structure for 2019 and beyond.

This new leadership structure takes into account the planned expansion of our ‘development’ capacity into all 12 counties of Leinster over the plan period (we already have Development Officers in Dublin City, South Dublin, Dun Laoghaire Rathdown, Fingal, Meath, Wicklow and Wexford).

In this context, we are delighted to advise that Brían O’Rourke will take up a new position with Cricket Leinster as Development Manager (North Leinster) with specific accountability for our work in the Fingal Local Authority Area, oversight of our work in Dublin City and Meath together with our underage boys representative programmes.

We are equally delighted to advise that Naomi Scott-Hayward will take up a new position as Development Manager (South Leinster) with specific accountability for our work in the South Dublin Local Authority Area, oversight of our work in Dun Laoghaire Rathdown, Wicklow and Wexford together with our underage girls representative programmes. Naomi will also continue to oversee delivery as part of our strategic partnership with Lords Taverners Ireland and our Cricket4All Programme.

Both of these new positions will report to Philip Smith, General Manager with effect from 1st January 2019.

We are hugely appreciative of the support we receive from our Local Authority, Sponsorship and Strategic partners in making this happen. This ensures that we can continue to deliver high quality development programmes in support schools and clubs throughout Leinster.

Cricket Leinster is committed to putting our clubs and their members at the heart of everything we do.
